Anne and Angela were honoured to be invited as the guests of Stray FM on Friday 4th June 2010 to Local Hero Awards Ceremony at Cedar Court Hotel, Harrogate.

Having been trusted to behave on the VIP table with the Mayor and our new MP, we had an excellent view or the proceedings which was a most uplifting event.

Local businesses had been generous enough to sponsor individual awards for the most moving and fantastic achievements of local Harrogate people and it reinforced belief in the essential goodness of humanity. 

It was an extremely energetic, noisy and thrilling evening extremely well organised and compered by Stray FM
